{description} At NewCo: An IAC Incubator, I contributed on the UI/UX team to design a seamless experience for sports card enthusiasts. I created social media assets to enhance brand presence, designed and refined mobile app features for showcasing and tracking card collections, and worked on website pages to improve user engagement. Additionally, I helped design merchandise that extended the brand beyond the app. Through these efforts, I supported a cohesive and visually engaging platform for collectors to manage and enjoy their collections.

Shoebox captures the tactile joy of card collecting while embracing the ease of modern technology. The interface is designed to feel both nostalgic and contemporary—using familiar textures, card-like frames, and vintage-inspired accents that honor the hobby’s roots, all within a clean, streamlined digital experience.
Design for Community
Shoebox is more than a tool—it’s a space for connection. From trading and showcasing to in-app conversations, every social feature was crafted to reflect the camaraderie of live card shows and neighborhood trades. The design encourages interaction, making the collecting experience feel shared, dynamic, and alive.
Elevating Every Card
Every card in Shoebox matters—whether it’s a high-value rookie or a personal favorite. The design is focused on building elegant card detail views, an intuitive pre-grading interface, and customizable collection layouts that let each card shine. Thoughtful visuals and subtle animations help give every piece the sense of importance it deserves.
Architecture.
A strong app architecture is key to ensuring scalability, reliability, and a seamless user experience. Shoebox’s architecture is focused on creating a flexible foundation that supports complex features like real-time trading and personalized collections while maintaining speed and stability. This strategic approach not only streamlines development but also ensures the app can evolve alongside its growing community.
Landing Page.
A well-designed landing page is crucial for converting interest into downloads. For Shoebox, it highlights key features and uses strong branding to build trust and captivate users. With clear visuals and a compelling value proposition, it encourages immediate action, turning visitors into app users.
