Expedia is a leading online travel agency, providing a one-stop platform for booking flights, hotels, car rentals, vacation packages, and activities worldwide. Drawn by my passion for user experience and travel, I sought to study and redesign Expedia to enhance its usability and make the travel planning process even more seamless for users.

Origins
The Expedia redesign, born from my passion for travel and organizational design, was a self-driven project during my Northeastern University course. As the sole project lead, I managed every aspect independently, enhancing my UI/UX skills and professional growth significantly.
How can we make the app more intuitive, modern, and accessible?
Finding my flow
In redesigning the Expedia app, I focused on refining four key user flows to ensure quality over quantity. By investing time and creativity into these pivotal interactions, I provided nuanced insights as a target user, aiming to enhance functionality and showcase improvement potential across the broader app interface.
Final Screens
A carefully planned design process was instrumental in the triumph of the Expedia redesign project, with a focus on efficiency and a user-centric mindset. Its methodical implementation not only guaranteed a well-coordinated project but also played a significant part in sculpting a sophisticated, intuitive design tailored to the unique needs of travelers. My independent execution within this structured framework allowed for a concentrated exploration, resulting in a thoughtfully crafted user experience for the revamped Expedia app.
